Rightly said that education is a compassion which no misfortune can depress, no crime can destroy, no enemy can alienate and no despotism can enslave. We are drowning in information but starving for knowledge and wisdom.With the academic education we need more of value education. We believe that a person, who is morally educated, will be better equipped to move up in life than a morally bankrupt with excellent academic qualification. Unfortunately these values have been degenerating day by day. There is a growing sense of ‘Grab- what –you-want-and do-what-you-like’ Irrespective of the consequences. The materialistic outlook has resulted in cut throat competition, corruption and unhealthy approach to achieve goals, leading to emotional imbalance, causing physical & emotional violence.
The need of the hour is to enrich the child’s mind with virtuous thoughts. We at school, are committed to develop the right attitude in students, imbibe the values, enrich and ennoble the body, mind and soul of our students who can effectively contribute to the progress of nation.

Guru Teg Bahadur Public School(Co-education) is situated in the heart of Karnal City, offering an advantage to the students as they are not required to travel long distances to reach the school. It has a modern, well planned building in Model Town Karnal, adjacent to the main market.

The founding Fathers of Guru Teg Bahadur Public School; Model Town; Karnal set aims for an all round harmonious development of the children on its roll. The congenial atmosphere of the school develops the right aptitude of the students keeping in mind the highest aims of humility and sacrifice taught to us by our ‘Great Guru’. The members of Guru Teg Bahadur educational society had nurtured a dream to fill the void of the paucity of quality education in Karnal city Thus Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Model Town Karnal took birth in 1983 to meet the growing needs of quality education in the city and its adjoining areas.
It is being run on the public school lines and imparts quality education to all the classes from pre-Nursery to class XII. The school was upgraded to XII in 1996-97. The school has the distinction of giving 100% result in All India Secondary and Senior Secondary School Examination.
